The Religious Affairs Ministry has served a show-cause notice on a Hajj agency owner, accusing him of trying to embezzle about Tk 33.32 lakh from the government’s fund.
The Ministry sent the notice to the owner of agency and asked him to submit his statement about the allegation by Tuesday. Hasina Shirin, Assistant Secretary of the Ministry,
issued the show-cause on July 9.
When he was contacted, he said that he had explained his position in a letter to the Ministry on Monday.
