Haimanti to perform in Florida

Haimanti Rakshit Das is a singer of melodious voice of present time. She passes busy times with stage shows in and outside the country.
The listeners who hear her song one time they always show their keen interest to enjoy her melodious voice. According to her, Haimanti always gets inspiration to sing song from legendary singers of the subcontinent Lata Mangeshkar and Runa Laila. Their songs always inspire her to come into the field of music. Besides performing in stage shows, Haimanti is also busy with live shows in different TV channels now.
Sometimes it is seen that Haimanti presents in different programmes as a guest singer. As an example, a new cooking related show China Swad is going to start telecasting on RTV soon. Last week she took part in recording of the show. She will go to Florida on November 20. On November 23 and 24, she will take part in two shows at a time. For the first time she will take part in any show in Florida. On November 28, she will return to country.
While talking in this regard Haimanti told this correspondent, “Music is like oxygen to me. Lataji and Runaji are inspirations to me in music. I am trying to step forward in the field of music to follow their inspirations. I always seem them as my idol in music. While performing in stage shows outside the country I really feel something special because I have to perform among the expatriate Bangladeshis in these shows where emotional values always work in my mind during performances.”
Meanwhile, recently a song of Haimanti with Tapan Chowdhury titled Tumi Aaral Holey was published in a YouTube channel. Composed by Ujjal Sinha, lyrics of the song were written by Sakhawat Hossain Maruf. Haimanti also informed that a new song with same singer will also be released soon. She has 10 new songs these were written by Kabir Bakul, Pradip Saha, Sharif Aldin and Ovi Akash. Pallab Sanyal, Ovi Akash and Nazir Mahmud have composed its tunes. She also lent her voice for the song Ekla Pakhi under Muhin’s composition.
Haimanti received training in modern song from Bani Kumar Chowdhury and Basudeb Ghosh and classical music from Nirodh Baran Barua.
