Hasina tells ALWC: Had Zia been alive he would have to face Bangabandhu murder charge

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has claimed that the late president Ziaur Rahman was involved with the killing of Bangabandhu.
She made this remark
while addressing a joint meeting of Awami League’s Working Committee, Parliamentary Party and Advisory Council at her official residence Ganabhaban on Monday.
Had Ziaur Rahman been alive he would have been made accused in the killing of Bangabandhu, she added.
Sheikh Hasina said: “Bangabandhu’s killer Khondaker Mustaque Ahmad made Zia the chief of Army which proved that he (Zia) had a good relationship with Mustaque and was involved in the Bangabandhu killing.
