1. Put those shower caps to a creative use
Though shower caps are useful as a hair hack but their usefulness cannot be limited to those four walls. Cover leftovers (in the dish) with a fresh shower cap to protect your food from bugs and other unwanted particles.

Bonus : Place the sponge upright which will prevent it from sitting in water as well as help it air dry fast.
4. Make your kitchen odor free
A foul-smelling kitchen can make you lose your appetite. Vanilla extract can help you keep the foul odor in your kitchen at bay. Put two caps of vanilla extract into an oven proof dish and then place it in your oven for an hour at 300 degrees. The smell will spread and fade away the foul odors.
Bonus : The vanilla fragrance will spread to other parts of your home too for about a day. You can also experiment with other essentials oils like lemon.
5. Prevent clogs in kitchen sink
To prevent clogs from forming in your kitchen sink, make sure to periodically pour boiling water down the drain. This will ensure that the oils in food products run down the drain as opposed to building up on the interior surface of pipes which is what leads to clogged drains.
Bonus : Pour some baking soda down the drain prior to using the boiling water. Baking soda is a great cleaning agent and helps in absorb any odors.
6. Make the flour shine
Maintain your stainless steel equipments by applying some dry flour onto a microfiber cloth. Rinse the flour off and the surface will shine like new. Be it you appliance, sink or counter, this trick will do wonders.

7. Clean your silverware

8. Clean your garbage can like a pro

10. Used aluminum foil has an interesting use
