Like previous years Gulshan Youth Club marked International Mother Language Day on February 21 amid various arrangements. Northern Hatchery sponsored the event.
President of Gulshan Youth Club Rafez Alam Chowdhury, EC members of the Club, language veteran Rafiqul Islam, Capt Shahabuddin Ahmed Bir Uttam, Capt Akram Ahmed Bir Uttam, residents of Gulshan area, among others, were present in the inaugural ceremony of the day-long programme in the morning of February 21.
In the second part of the programme, cultural function and children couourful letter writing competition were taken place.
In the cultural programme, led by Dr Sohana members of the club and budding singers performed. n
