Two cultural personalities of Green University, Bangladesh (GUB) were accorded a reception for their brilliant contributions to the cultural field of the university. English Club of the university has arranged a program on Wednesday at IQAC Auditorium of the university.
The honored persons are students of the Dept of English at GUB- Novelist Mallick Mafizul Islam and poet Khalid Hasan Rhivu.
KM Wazed Kabir, Chairperson of the Dept of English presided over the reception ceremony where Prof Dr Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor of the university was the chief guest. Prof Dr Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor and Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer were also special guests of this event.
The speakers pointed out that the contribution of the cultural personalities is a matter of pride for the university.
