Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Green University achieved the accreditation of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). As recognition of strong management, quality labs, libraries, classrooms and experienced teachers, the university obtained such kind of certificate.
Though there are a large number of public and private universities in Bangladesh, but only a few universities are accredited by IEB.
For being IEB Accredited, Graduates of B.Sc. in CSE & EEE program of Green University will be able to apply for IEB membership to become a recognized professional Engineer. Prior to this, a high-powered inspector team of IBE visited the CSE and EEE Department of Green University and provided ‘satisfactory’ grades for providing quality education.
Pro Vice Chancellor of Green University Professor Dr. Muhammad Fayyaz Khan Said, such kind of recognition from international standard institute, IEB will not only promote CSE or EEE but also improve the quality of education of other departments.
