Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College observed the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day with due respects and solemnity on the college campus. To commemorate the day, authorities of the College chalked out a daylong programme. The programmes were hoisting the national flag at half mast, wearing black badges, morning procession, placing floral wreath at the college Shaheed Minar, special discussion, deyalika Inaugurated, handwriting and art competition, cultural function, Prize distribution etc.
A discussion programme titled ‘Martyrs Day and International Mother Language Day’ was arranged on the occasion. Founder and Chairman of the College Governing Body Ven Prajnananda Mahathera was present in the discussion as chief guest while Rector Prof Tarun Kanti Barua presided over the discussion. Acting Principal of Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College Sudip Kumar Mandal, Assistant Teacher Hamidur Rahman spoke about our language movement. Basanta Bikash Chakma, Shreya Chakma and Kafshad Tayush Noor, students of the college took part in the discussion.
