Speakers at a discussion meeting said on Saturday that 14 party grand alliance feel acutely the absence of late Awami League leader Mohammad Nasim.
“The grand alliance is now suffering much for his absence. No one can fill the gap of him,” said Dr. Md. Murad Hassan, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting at the programme organized by Bangamata Shangskritik Jote at the National Press Club.
He said, the nation is still mourning his death as he was pro-people leader.
Sheikh Shah Alam, President of the organization presided over the meeting, while Dilip Barua, President of Samyabadi Dal, Engineer Tanvir Shakil Joy, MP from the ruling Awami League, among others, spoke.
The programme was organized on the occasion of the veteral AL leaders first death anniversary.
The former AL Presidium member and spokesperson of AL-led 14-party alliance died while undergoing treatment in a city hospital at Shyamoli on June 13 last year.
Speakers asked all to remember late Mohammad Nasim and to serve the people.
