The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned Managing Director of Grameen Telecom Nazmul Islam and three others for their statements over an allegation of Tk 2,977 crore money laundering.
The corruption watchdog issued a notice in this regard on Monday (August 22, 2022).
The three are Md Mainul Islam, representative of Grameen Telecom Shramik Kormochari Union, and lawyers Zafrul Hasan Sharif and Md Yusuf Ali.
All the four have been asked to appear before the ACC on August 25, 2022.
Md Gulshan Anwar Prodhan, deputy director of the ACC, has been investigating the allegation.
