Cellular phone operator Grameenphone has teamed up with Payza, an e-wallet payment gateway, to offer an instant online payment solution for its customers.
The operator and Payza today made the announcement of their agreement after a signing ceremony at the Grameenphone corporate office in city’s Bashundhara, said a press release today. Through this agreement, more than 52 million of Grameenphone prepaid and postpaid users will be able to purchase
different Value Added Services, complete online recharges or pay bills from its the GP website using their Payza e-Wallet.
Dilip Pal, Chief Financial Officer of Grameenphone, said, “Online transaction in Bangladesh is becoming an essential need and thus by allowing our customers to purchase online, we are opening a new channel for our customers to make it easy for them.”
