The government is set to sign a consultancy service contract with Australia based company Energytron for feasibility study of replacement of existing overhead lines by underground distribution network of DPDC.
Energytron Australia would conduct the feasibility study for replacement of existing overhead lines by underground distribution network of Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) Limited area.
Talking to BSS, Senior Public Relation Officer of Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin said the deal between DPDC and Energytron Australia would be signed today at 3pm at the Mukti Hall (14th Floor) of Bidyut Bhaban.
State Minister for Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid will witness the contract signing ceremony as the chief guest, while officials concerned would be present on the occasion.
