Govt to realise necessity of mid term polls: Noman

BNP Vice-Chairman Abdullah-al-Noman has said that the present government will be compelled to realise the necessity of the mid-term polls through movement.
 “We marched against the bullets of autocrat Ershad. Later, who was finally forced to arrange the polls. The present government follows the autocrat to thwart our movement. The 20-party alliance’s movement will be successful,” he said it in a shock meeting on Friday.
Bangladesh Islamic Party, a partner of the BNP-led 20-party alliance, arranged the shock meeting followed by a doa mahfil at
the National Press Club in the city on Friday in commemoration of former chairman of the party Advocate Abdul Mobin.
The party’s new Chairman Barrister Sayadul Hasan Iqbal presided over the programme while former Minister and Secretary General of a faction of Jatiya Party Mostafa Jamal Haider, NDP Chairman Khandaker Golam Mortuza, LDP Secretary General Dr Redwan Ahmed, Jubo Dal President Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, President of Bangladesh Muslim League Advocate Nurul Haque, Secretary General of Bangladesh NAP Golam Mustafa Bhuyan, Islamic Party Vice-Chairman Ezaz Hossain also addressed it, among others.
