A floating terminal at outer berth of Chittagong Port will be built to make effective of the Pangaon Inland container terminal of Narayangonj. This was disclosed at at a meeting of Pangaon ICT held in the capital , CPA sources said.
The meeting duly presided by the Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan MP was atterended by the resresentatives of the concerned ministry and business community.
Among others Finance Minister emphasised the need of constructing a floating terminal at chittagong port to make active of the Pangaon ICT immediately . The meeting asked the concerned officials of the ministry to send a proposal for the FT to the concerned authorities, sources said.
