Govt takes epoch-making steps for female edn

State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Alhaj Moshiur Rahman Ranga, MP, has said the present government has taken epoch-making steps for ensuring female education at all levels.
“The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, would take further necessary steps, whatever and when required, to make our young generations properly educated, enlightened and qualified to lead the nation in future,” he said.
The State Minister said this while inaugurating newly built administrative building of BM Laboratory School & College and academic
building of Robertsonsganj Girls’ High School & College in Rangpur on Friday as the chief guest.After inauguration of the newly built academic building, Ranga also attended a colourful ceremony organised by the female students of Robertsonsganj Girls’ High School & College to accord warm reception to him there.
Zila Parishad Administrator and President of district Awami League Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Rangpur Zila Parishad Jayonta Kumar Sikder, former Jatiya Party (JP) lawmaker Mofazzal Hossain Master, JP leaders Abdul Masud Chowdhury Nantu and Advocate Salahuddin Kaderi were present.
Principal of BM Laboratory School & College Ahsan Habib, Principal of Robertsonsganj Girls’ High School & College Abdullahel Baki, Executive Engineer of Zila Parishad Fazlar Rahman, teachers, students, guardians, civil society members and elite also attended. Citing various steps taken for promoting female education, the State Minister said that the present government has created a renaissance in spreading female education through making the same free up to the degree level.
The government of Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina has put special emphasis on ensuring congenial academic atmosphere through building necessary infrastructures and improving facilities in the educational institutions to make the future citizens educated, he said.
