Govt putting its best efforts to spread quality edn : Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday said that the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been making its best efforts to ensure quality education for the new generation for building up them as worthy citizens and the country as developed country.
“We all have to join our hands to the government efforts to ensure quality education for our future generation for building up them as “good human beings and worthy citizens” for steering the nation towards progress and prosperity as well as to ensure the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the government “, the education minister said these while addressing as chief guest at the reunion of ex-students of Mohanganj Government Pilot High School at the school ground at Mohanganj upazila town in Netrakona district.
Chaired by Prime Minister’s Private Secretary -1 Sazzadul Hasan, the function was addressed, among others, by justice Obaidul Hasan, Rebeka Mumin MP, Secretary of Ministry of Jute and Textile Foijur Rahman Chowdhory and Professor of English Department of Dhaka University Dr. Sayed Monjurul Islam, Divisional Commissioner of Mymensing GM Saleuddin, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Mymensing Range Nibas Chandra Maji, Deputy Commissioner, Netrakona Dr. Musfiqur Rahman and Police Super Netrakona Joydeb Chowdhory.
The education minister announced for sanctioning Tk 14 crores for construction of a six -storied academic building of the Mohanganj pilot high school and implementation of other development works of the school.
Later, the function was followed by a musical soiree . Popular singers of the country rendered songs enthralling audiences.
