LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said the government has prioritized poverty alleviation mapping out effective measures to rid the nation of this menace.
“The government has been continuing to implement different projects, including ‘Ektee Bari Ektee Khamar’ and ‘Ashrayan’, to alleviate poverty from the country,” he said.
The minister said this on Monday while presiding over the 2nd meeting of board of governance of ‘Bangabandhu Academy for Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development’ (BAPARD) at the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division conference room at the secretariat here.
