The government is providing stipend to 78,70,129 students across the country aimed at increasing enrolment of students in the school.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman told this in the Jatiya Sangsad on Monday while replying to a question from treasury bench member M Sohrab Uddin.
“The government has decided to provide stipend to all students across the country except city corporation and municipality areas.
