Railway Minister Mujibul Haque said the government is committed to improve railway with the cooperation and consultation of all concerned.
“We have to work together for the development of Bangladesh Railway,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at Institute of Diploma Engineers here.
Bangladesh Railway (BR) Diploma Engineers Samity (BRDES) organized its 9th conference and 13th council with its president Siddiqur Rahman in the chair. Director General of BR M Tafazzal Hossain spoke at the council as the special guest.
The programme was also addressed, among others, by president of Institute of Diploma Engineers AKMA Hamid and general secretary of BRDES Dipok Kumar Bhowmik.
The minister said the government has taken various projects to improve the railway and its services.
