Local Lawmaker Kujendra Lal Tripura said government has taken a special project to ensure health services to people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT).
He told it at a discussion meeting held at the Khagrachhari Modern Hospital on Monday noon. He attended the meeting as chief guest.
He said the government has taken a plan to appoint more doctors at eight upazila health complexes and the Khagrachhari Modern Hospital very soon; Khagrachhari Modern Hospital was upgraded from 50-bed to 100-bed hospital.
