Govt ensuring health services reviving community clinics

Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, has said the present government has ensured health services for rural people through reviving and revitalising the community clinics.
“Massive developments take place when Awami League (AL) comes to power and the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to build a developed country free from militancy and terrorism,” he said.
The Minister said this while addressing a function after inaugurating Abdus Sattar Kishamat Dolua Community Clinic built at Taka 14 lakh in Dolua Dogachhi village under Chawra Barogachha union of Sadar upazila in Nilphamari on the 14th instant as the chief guest.
With Civil Surgeon of Nilphamari Dr Abdur Rashid in the chair, President of district AL Dewan Kamal Ahmed, it’s General Secretary Mamtazul Haque, Sadar Upazila Chairman Abuzar Rahman, local union Chairman Mossarraf Hossain addressed the function as special guests.
The Minister said the then AL government launched community clinics after assuming power in 1996 to reach ensured health and medicare services to rural people at their doorsteps for building a healthier nation.
