Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif said the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ensured equal rights and opportunities for all citizens of the country.
The minister said this on Friday while distributing allowances among the old, widows and disabled people and financial assistance among students belonging to small ethnic groups at Atghoriya Upazila Parishad auditorium in Pabna.
Additional Police Super Jahurul Haque, Deputy Director of Social Service Department in Pabna A Amin, Social Service Officer Asafudullha, Atghoriya Upazila Assistant Commissioner (land) Golam Morshed and Upazila Fisheries Officer Shakila Jahan, among others, addressed the function with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Akram Ali in the chair.
