The government has so far distributed over Taka 2.88 crore in cash among the flood-hit victims as over 50 lakh people have been affected by the recent devastating flood.
“The government has so far handed over Taka 2, 88,810,00 out of allocated Taka 4,27,000,00 in cash among the flood affected people, “according to a data compiled from the information provided by district administrations till August 16.
In addition to this, the government has also allocated 19,510 tonnes of rice, from which, 12,848 tonnes have been dispensed among the flood-hit people in 33 districts.
