The government has taken a programme to distribute agriculture assistance cards among the marginal farmers for boosting production.
As part of the programme, the government will help the farmers providing fertilizers, seeds, money and other inputs.
Department of Agriculture Extension DAE sources said under the programme DAE has already completed the distribution of cards in the district recently.
DAE sources said a total of 9, 47, 708 cards were distributed in all 12 upazilas of the district.
According to DAE of the total distributed cards 9, 69, 920 in Mymensingh Sadar upazila, 68, 000 in Muktagacha, 80, 950 in Fulbaria , 64, 100 in Trishal , 66, 350 in Bhaluka , 85, 700 in Gafargeon , 88, 000 in Nandail , 75,482 in Ishwarganj, 59, 546 in Gouripur , 14, 3150 in Phulpur , 75, 190 in Haluaghat and 44, 320 in Dobaura upazila.
