He was speaking at a rally in Kamrangirchar while launching 12 master plans to save rivers including Buriganga, Turag, Balu and Shitalakkhya.
These master plans cover about a 52km stretch from Narayanganj’s Fatullah to Gabtoli.
The plans include installing 40km embankment, 100 RCC stairs, 105 railings, 19 RCS jetties, 38 spots, 10,820 boundary pillars, 36 signboards, six pontoons, three eco-parks and two tourism parks.
