Government Children’s Family (Girls) Mymensingh won the award for the best organization in the annual sports and cultural competition 2022 at the divisional level.
The competition was held with the participation of more than four hundred children deprived of the care of their parents in eight institutions of Mymensingh division. The girls of Government Children’s Family Girls Mymensingh received a total of 45 prizes including 22 first prizes, 18 second prizes and 6 third prizes and won the best institution award. Besides, the government children’s family girl Mymensingh became the champion in girls’ cricket.
State Minister for Social Welfare Md. Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru inaugurated the competition on Sunday. Divisional Commissioner Md. Shafiqur Reza Biswas distributed the award on Monday. Divisional Director Mr. Tahmina Akhter presided over the award ceremony.
Speaking as the chief guest, the Divisional Commissioner said that in order to build a developed Bangladesh by 2041, the development of all the helpless and disadvantaged children of the society must be ensured.
Abu Abdullah Md. Wali Ullah, Deputy Director, District Social Services Office and Nazneen Nahar, Deputy Superintendent, Government Children’s Family, Mymensingh, expressed satisfaction at receiving the award for the Best Government Children’s family in Mymensingh district.
