A driver and his helper suffered bullet wounds as goods-laden vans of a private company came under attack by terrorists on Khagrachhari-Dighinala road at Satmile in Sadar upazila on Sunday night.
Md Salauddin, additional superintendent of Khagrachhari police, said a gang of terrorists attacked seven
goods-laden vehicles of ‘Pran-RFL’ company around 9:15pm. The terrorist also opened fire at the drivers and their helpers when they came out from their vehicles, leaving driver Moslem Uddin and helper Abdul Qaiyum injured with bullets. On information, a team of Army rescued the injured and sent them to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
