New Zealand eve cricket team made a positive start in the opening match of the women’s ICC Word T20 beating Australia by seven runs held on Sunday at the Sylhet Stadium.
Put to bat first by Australia, New Zealand managed to score a moderate total of 128 for 8 from their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Australia found the chase very stiff and dismissed at a paltry total of 121 in 19.3 overs.
