Iftar party of Chittagong Reporters Unity followed by discussions on holy Ramzan was held on Monday at CMUJ auditorium with its President Mr. Kiron Sharma in the chair.
The discussions on holy Ramadan was moderated by its organizing secretary RiazurRahman Riaz. Advisor of the CRU and former member of world press council & Bangladesh Press Council , Chairman of Chittagong Journalists Union Cooperative Society MoinuddinQuaderiShawkat graced the occasion as chief guest.
Among others, Vice President Kamrul Huda, Finance Secretary Kazi HumayunKabir, Asstt. Organizing Secretary Babul Hoaainbabla, Office Secretary Md. Alamgir, NurulKabir, Asghar Ali manic, abdulkarimselim, Afsar Rashid , Sk.Md.Arif, AmanullahBadshah, Kamal Hoassain spoke on the occasion.
General Secretary of CRU Nazrul Islam delivered address of welcome in the iftar Mahfil.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations emphasized the need of forming an organization with the ultimate views of their professional rights and dignity rather the wills of personal image .
He said as per existing constitution of the govt of the peoples republic of Bangladesh clause 38, every citizen has right to form organizations of their own destinations. Following the end of the discussions, Iftarmahfil through offering doa and munajat held a CRU sources said.
