‘GoMedKit’ to deliver medicines in 59 minutes

State Minister for Information and Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the ‘GoMedKit’, a online medicine mobile service application that will deliver to you in just 59 minutes at a ceremony in the city on Monday.
Shibli Rubaiyatul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of BBA, Dhaka University; Didarul Alam Sani, Director of BASIS; Ashraf Ibn Noor, former Senior Vice President of DCCI; Shomi Kaiser, President of e-Commerce Association (e-Cabs) and Nasima Akhter Nisha, President of Weman in E-Commerce,
were present as special guests. The Minister said that such initiatives will bring radical changes in the health sector. Combining the internet with education does something great. The real example of which is the ‘GoMedKit’. This year, the Prime Minister has set a budget of Tk 100 crore for startups. We will have all the support we need to help such local startups get acquainted with the global platform. There will be software and financial support.
Professor Shibali Rubaiyatul Islam said that this initiative of Dhaka University students Sohanur Rahman and Sourav Azam will benefit many in Dhaka, the busiest city. It is necessary to launch such service everywhere to meet the urgent need. In this age of information technology, the country will continue to innovate one after another.
