Golden Chess Club and Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club took joint lead in the points table with maximum 6 points after 3rd round games in the Walton Home Appliance 1st Division Chess League now being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
In the 3rd round games were held on Wednesday, Golden Chess beat Destiny 2000 Limited by 4-0 points while Sonali Bank beat Farashganj Sporting Club by 2.5-1.5 points.
In other two matches, Basir Memorial Chess Club beat Protiva Daba Goshti by 3-1 points and Debdas Biswas Smirity Sangsad split points with Mohakhali Pradip Sangah lead by 2-2 points.
The 4th round games start today (Friday) at 3.30 pm at the same venue.
