Customs Intelligence officials in Chittagong Airport recovered 4 gold bars worth about Tk.16 lakh from a incoming passenger on Sunday last. The Bangladesh expatriate identified as Ruman Hoque who came from Muscat by a US Bangla Flight.
Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department Deputy Director SM Shamimur Rahman told the media that these gold bars recovered from the luggage of the Muscat return passenger Ruman
He further said at the end of all exist checking of the passengers, Customs officials suspected his movement and thoroughly checked his luggage .A case was filed in this connection.
