Jewellers have raised the prices of gold within three weeks of the previous price adjustment.
Bangladesh Jewellers Assocation, in a media statement issued on Sunday, announced the price rise, whice will come into effect on Monday.
Price of per bhori (11.664 gram) 22-karat gold has been fixed at Tk 48,405.60 against the previous rate of Tk 47,239, 21-karat at Tk 46,247.76 against Tk 45,081, and 18-karat at Tk 39,657.60 against Tk 38,607.
Traditional gold price has been raised to Tk 27,244 a bhori from Tk 26,244.
The association, however, has kept unchanged the price of 21-karat silver at Tk 1,166.
