Ishraque urges voters: Go to vote centers to ensure fair polls

BNP mayor candidate Ishraque Hossain has urged voters to go to the vote centers to exercise their franchise on January 30 in the interest of a free and fair election.
He said it while addressing a procession at Bangla Bazar intersection in the city on Saturday.
Ishraque Hossain said that he would undertake short and long-term projects in order to solve the problems facing the city dwellers as the mayor of
the south city in case of victory. He alleged that Dhaka’s condition deteriorated over the last 13 years and promised that he would make the city a habitable place.
Ishraque also said, “He will work to restore democracy and make Dhaka a clean and developed city.”
Undivided Dhaka’s former mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka’s son said that he had visited Kadamtali, Shyampur and Jatrabari during electioneering and saw the pitiable condition of the people created by the apathetic attitude of the authorities concerned..
He blamed the authorities concerned for the unviable condition of the city.
BNP’s leaders Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel, AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, Abdus Slam Azad, and SM Zilani and others attended the rally.
