GM Ziaur Rahman finished 9th of the Group A of the XVI Obert International Sant Marti, which was held at Barcelona in Spain. Zia earned 6½ points out of 9 games and tied for 6th to 9th places and he became 9th in the tie-breaking system.
The 9th round game was held last Monday and Zia beat GM Perez Mitjans of Orelvis of Spain.
