GM Abdullah Al-Rakib of Bangladesh Navy is leading in the points table with maximum 6 points after end of the 6th round games of the Walton International Rating Chess Tournament sponsored by electronics and home appliance manufacturer company renowned brand Walton and organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation is now being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Ten players are sharing 2nd position with 5 points each. They are: FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman Emonof Janata Bank, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Leonine Chess Club, FM Mohammad Javed, CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed Robin of Bangladesh Navy, Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan of Titas, Md Mujibur Rahman of Chittagong, Matiur Rahman Mamun, Md Golam Rasul Bhuiyan of Mymensing, Mohammed Enayet Hossain of Fire-Service and Rabiul Bhuiyan.
The 6th round games were held yesterday (Wednesday).
