Grandmaster Niaz Murshed left home for USA on Monday morning to take part in the World Open Chess to be held in Philadelphia from June 30 to July 4.
After the completion of World Open, Niaz will take part in another prestigious competition ‘Philadelphia Open Chess’ billed for July 5 to 10 also in Philadelphia, USA.
Earlier on Sunday, Elegant International Chess School Managing Director Mahmuda Hoque Chowdhury Moly gave Taka 1lakh to Niaz as sponsorship money.
