Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will play host Sri Lanka in their 3rd and last Super League match at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo today (Sunday).
The match will begin at 10:30am Bangladesh time.
This a must-win game with better net run rate for Bangladesh to set their berth of the final-eight of the ICC Women’s World Cup beginning on June 26 in England.
With one match to spare, India and South Africa set their World Cup berth earlier on Friday.
Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are in the 3rd, 4th and 5th places respectively in the points table and now vying against their rivals for the last two seats while Ireland were out of race as bottom team in the six team Super League stage.
Bangladesh started the Super League with a seven-wicket victory against Ireland Women while lost to India by 9 wickets in the 2nd match.
Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in the super league while conceded a nine-wicket defeat against South Africa.
