A young girl drowned in a pond in Karnaphuli upazila of Chattogram yesterday.
Mehrin, 3, daughter of Nesar Ahmed from Char Patharghata in Karnaphuli area, was playing beside the pond near her home, said police.
She was declared dead at Chattogram Medical College Hospital, said CMCH police.
