A girl named Sumaiya Akhtar Meem (15) was committed suicide in Kalikach area of Sarail Upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
She is the daughter of Fisherman Md. Rafiq Mia of Barjivipara Senpara of Kalikachh Union of Upazila.
The incident took place in Barjivipara Senpara area of Kalikachh Union of Upazila on Thursday.
According to the girl’s family sources, she is a student of Meshkat (SSC equivalent) class at the local Madinatul Islam Mahila Madrasah. Meem wakes up in the morning and goes to sleep again. Later, members of the family went to her room and found Meem hanging in her own room with a noose.
