Getco President Cup Golf Tournament ends in Rangpur

The three-day “Getco President Cup Golf Tournament -2017” ended through a colourful ceremony at Rangpur Golf Club (RGC) in Rangpur Cantonment here on Friday evening.
More than 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs from all over the country participated in the male, female, junior and sub-junior groups of the tournament, said a press release.
The Getco Group sponsored the tournament organised by Rangpur Golf Club.
Rangpur Area Commander, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry Division and President of Rangpur Golf Club Major General Md Masud Razzaque attended the concluding ceremony as the chief guest.
In the Male Group, golfer Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah secured the first position while golfer Major General Md. Masud Razzaque won the best gross award.
Golfer Colonel Moazzem became the runner up while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Imrul won award for becoming the second best gross.
Golfer Colonel Zulfiqar Ali became the second runner up while golfer Dr Zabed Akhter won award for becoming the third best gross.
Golfer Brigadier General Sanaul became the third runner up while golfer Lieutenant Colonel Mamun won the maximum par award.
Golfer Brigadier General Md Sarwar Mahbub won award for making the longest drive while golfer Abrar won the nearest to pin award.
In the Female Group, golfer Subah became the winner while golfer Nasrine Haque Boby won the best gross award.
Fida became the winner while Ridin came out as the runner up in the in Junior Group.
Wadi secured the first position and while Elhan came out as the runner up in the Sub-Junior Group.
President of Rangpur Golf Club Major General Md Masud Razzaque distributed prizes among the winners in the concluding ceremony.
Lieutenant General (Retd) Sabbir Ahmed, Director General of Ansar and VDP Major General Mizanur Rahman Khan, Major General of NSI Major General Md Shamsul Haque, Adviser of Getco Group Farid Uddin Khan Rumi with his officials, military officials, participating golfers and journalists, were present.
