Former Minister and vice chairman of BNP Abduallah al Noman called upon the people of Chittagong to get united like liberation war of 1971 to resist the militancy . He disclosed it at the eid congregation in Jamiatul falah mosque after Eid jamaat .
He said the people are under the attacks of militants across the country ands we should be united like liberation war to resist such attacks by the outlawed groups at any cost. He hoped to control the militancy in the country with joint efforts .
He also emphasized the need of national unity above all disputes among the peoples . He further stressed the need of sustaining the democratic environment to control such militancy . He said BNP always hate the heinous activities of any militant groups .
Meanwhile the party leaders and activists thronged in the residence of former Ministers Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Abdullah -al Noman in city on eid day to convey Eid greetings to their leaders .
These two central leaders of the party exchanged eid greetings with the partyleaders and workers and embraced with them .
