General students of Gafargaon Upazila have staged a human chain to protest one rape incident after another across the country and demand punishment for those involved in it. The human chain was organized in front of Gafargaon Press Club on Wednesday urged for morning by Oxygen and Chitte 18 students’ organizations of SSC 16 batch of the upazila. During the hour-long human chain from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, Oxygen President Mojahid Anik, Tamanna Binte Hafiz, Tahmida Morshed Oishee, Mir Abir Hassan Rafi, Raful Islam, Maryam Ilma, Sabbir Al Mehdi Emperor Zahid Hasan Walid spoke. At the rally, students quickly completion of the legal process and demanded the death penalty for the rapist.
