GDCL hosts seminar on ‘Padma Bridge & Capital Market’

The impact of Padma Bridge would propel the GDP growth approximately by 1.2% to 1.5%. In order to discover the best economic prospect and future opportunities that Padma Bridge can facilitate and to make the most out of this legendary milestone of our nation, Green Delta Capital Limited, a leading merchant bank of Bangladesh, hosted the event and panel discussion in order to facilitate an insightful dialogue among the public and private stakeholders of Bangladesh capital market with the objective of tapping into the new horizon of possibilities for country’s economic growth associated with capital market and industrialization, said a press release.
Prime Minister’s Economic Affairs Adviser Dr. Mashiur Rahman, graced the event as the chief guest, while Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Secretary of Financial Institutions Division, was present as the special guest. In addition, State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam, Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, were also present.
Chairman of Green Delta Capital Limited and Founding MD & Advisor of Green Delta Insurance Company Nasiruddin Ahmad Choudhury, presides over the programme. Md.
