District watch in pictures: GAZIPUR: The Tuber Crops Research Center of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) arranged a workshop on ‘Field level expansion of improved varieties potato and vitamin-enriched sweet potatoes’ at the Institute’s FMPE Seminar Room on Thursday. Scientists from different divisions of BARI, representatives from Department of Agticulture Extension (DAE), Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) and farmers participated at the workshop. BARI Director General Dr Abul Kalam Azad inaugurated the workshop as Chief Guest. BARI Director Dr A K M Shamsul Haque chaired the workshop.
