The fire which broke out at a garment factory in Konabari’s Jorun area of Gazipur has been brought under control.
Around eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire blaze around 5:45pm, which broke out in the sixth floor of Islam Garments Factory on Friday noon.
Gazipur Fire Station Deputy Director Al Mamun confirmed the news to the media, after the fire incident, three fire units were from Gazipur Fire Station, three from
Savar EPZ Fire Station and two others from Kaliakoir fire station rushed to the spot.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately. No casualty has been reported yet, he added.
