Gas supply to all classes will be closed in Savar from 10 pm on Eid day till next 48 hours. Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited has decided to cut off the supply of this gas for the repair and maintenance work of the gas transmission pipeline.

Abu Sadat Md. Sayem told the New Nation that according to the schedule issued by Petrobangla, the Zonal Marketing Office (JOBIO) will provide gas to all types of customers including residential and industrial customers for emergency maintenance work on the pipeline for the next 48 hours from 10 pm on Eid day. Gas supply to Manikganj and Dhamrai will also be cut off at this time.
He added that the pressure of gas consumption is relatively low during Eid. In addition, it is easy to repair the pipelines.
Considering all the aspects so this time has been fixed for the maintenance work of the transmission pipeline.
Besides, there may be low gas pressure in Gabtali, Mazar Road, Mirpur, Kalyanpur, Shyamoli, Mohammadpur and Dhanmondi areas of the capital.
