According to sources, the gang including uncle and his nephew started cheating people with a job advertisement in a newspaper.
After being caught in a detective trap, police said, Faroquzazman, who returned from Jordan with his nephew, swindled millions of taka in the last three years in the name of giving jobs to thousands of people.
A person named Mamun applied after seeing a job advertisement at BRAC Health Care Center.
He was informed by the organization that he had been selected. However, before receiving the appointment letter, you have to pay a lot of money for human welfare, police verification, installing apps and training purpose.
Later the victim gave them money to fight against unemployment life. But in the end he did not get the desired job and thereby was deceived.

I called a month later. They again said that Chairman Sir had not yet recovered. And that’s how they keep me going.
When the issue of fake advertisement came to light, a case was filed on behalf of BRAC. At last the fraudster Faroquzzaman and his nephew Ibrahim were arrested.
Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, BRAC’s Liaison and Investigation Manager, said, “We have seen some fake news spread in the name of BRAC. Though we have not got any such advertisement from BRAC.
We tried to find out who were doing these things. Later, we took shelter of law.
In the last three years, thousands of job seekers had been cheated by their uncles and nephews.
And by doing so, they have misappropriated several lakhs of taka.
Dhaka Metropolitan (North) Joint Commissioner of Detective Branch of Police Mohammad Harun or Rashid said that a registrar’s book was recovered from them recording a list of job applicants, looking at fake advertisements.
Some symbolic characters were also used in the list. Those whose names had M written, they are Masters, H means Higher Secondary and S means Secondary Pass. Written OK means money has already been taken.
