A housewife named Lipi Akhter (40) committed suicide by hanging herself at her father’s house in Gafargaon of Mymensingh. The incident took place on Tuesday night in Abdullah Bazar area of Barobaria Union of the upazila. An unnatural death case has been registered at Gafargaon police station in this incident.
According to local, family and police sources, the deceased Lipi Akhter went to his father Azimuddin Munshi’s house for dinner and fell asleep in a room of his house. Later, at some point in the night,she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of the house. In the morning, he relatives called and broke down the door without getting any response. After hearing the pleas of the relatives, the locals came and informed the police.
