Fund shortage hits Raozan Sk. Kamal Complex

The finishing work of the Raozan Sheikh Kamal Complex has been remain stranded due to lack of fund though 90 percent project work has been completed in the meantime .
The estimated cost of the project was Tk.7 crores. The modern auditorium project after the name of elder son of Bangabandhu , Shaheed Sheikh Kamal located beside Noapara University College, Raozan on Chittagong-Kaptai highway .
Chittagong District Council is implementing the project .
Noor Synbdicate and Hossain Enterprise have been entrusted with the construction work of the project over 30 thousand sft land . A sources of district council told that Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP played pioneering role for implementing the project in south Raozan.
 Sources said the construction of 3-storied building almost completed but finishing works like tiles fittings, sanitarywares , door, windows and furnitures and fixtures remained pending lack of fund.
Our correspondent sources said in ground floor of the complex will have a large sized conference hall, complex office and VIP rest house with 11 modern furnished rooms in first floor and museum, library in 2nd floor. It is learnt from the concerned department that work order given to contractors in 2013 and 90 percent work in the meantime completed.
 Owner of the Hossain Enterprises M Manzoor Hossain told our correspondent that due to non-release of fund from the concerned authority , we compelled to suspend the work despite wish to complete the work quickly.
